Park Celtic goalkeeper Harry Halwax keeps going from strength to strength.
Harry Halwax was selected and recently kept a clean sheet playing for the Manchester United Academy selection versus Waterford Schoolboys League.
The game was played in Malahide with United winning 4-0 and a starring role played by Harry. (you might see why – he’s the young man standing taller than the rest !!)
Harry has been a Park Celtic player since he joined the U8’s coached by Mark Dowling and Jim Scully until his recent transfer to St Joesph’s Boys from the U14 team. Trained through the club his potential was realised at an early age and he represented Park Celtic many times playing in the Dublin District Schoolboys League.
At the club awards night this year, celebrating the success of players and teams in the 2014/15 season, Harry took home the coveted ‘Players Player of the Year’ trophy.
Everyone at Park Celtic wishes Harry the very best of success and hope there are great things to come for him in the future.
