Park Celtic played a thrilling 3 -3 draw with a very good St Mary’s Boy’s  on a sunny Sunday morning in Meadowvale.

After early pressure from St Mary’s, Park scored against the run of play with a 40 yard thunderbolt of a shot from Rob which the keeper couldn’t keep out .
Park then controlled the next 20 minutes but a quick counter atrack led to a simple tap in and it was 1 -1 .
Straight from the start of the second half after a break down in communications at the back, St Mary’s were awarded a penalty which the St Mary’s keeper walked up to score with a well taken strike.
But this team never gives up and went on the attack resulting in a super individual goal from Adam who scored after beating 4 players.
The game then went end to end with park creating the clearer chances but cldnt finish them. Then as the ball was played into space in the box ,the St Mary’s keeper smashed into Darragh resulting in a penalty which Rob stuck calmly into the net.
St Mary’s then threw everything at Park lookiing for an equaliser and they got it with a great shot from just inside the box.
Only when the full time whistle went could everyone take a big breath.
Well done to both teams.
