Park Celtic U17s got their second win of the season on Sunday against a Castleknock side that never gave but was worn down by the passing movement of the Park Celtic team.
Inspired by the performance of the Irish rugby team earlier that morning, Park started like a train and opened the scoring with a well-placed header by Adam from a pinpoint pass by Rob.
Then a few minutes later a break down the left-hand side resulted in Mark smashing the ball past the keeper.
A third quickly followed with David making a long run past a couple of Castleknock players before finishing with a well placed shot in the corner.
Castleknock tried to get back into but Shane and Matthew controlled every attack and Killian commanding everything in the box. The one time they got through, Adam came from nowhere to block the shot.
The half finished with a one-touch move involving 3 players ended up with Rob flicking the ball past the keeper for a four nil lead.
Castleknock continued to try and get some reward and after a mix up in the defence, the ball fell loose to be finished into the net.
Park then went up a gear and with Darragh buzzing up the line and whipping crosses in from the right and Luke from the left and Sam linking the play up, the fifth goal came from a cross and led to a tap in by Gavin and then another followed for him again with a bullet of a header.
The seventh came after good defending by Salman released Adam who played in Luke who tucked it away.
Every cross was causing panic in the box and the eight was a cruel own goal for Castleknock.
Tim and David were controlling the midfield and using the ball cleverly which ended up with the ninth goal coming from a hard shot by Aaron which the keeper could not prevent from crossing the line.
Some lovely football played by Park which was appreciated by all the parents.
