What a start to 2020 for the U10Bs, putting a strong Greystones side who play a league ahead to the sword. Despite it being their first game back,Park started at 100 miles an hour, and had Greystones on the back foot. After missing some early chances, Park broke the deadlock with a slick finish from Ben after some good interplay between Conor and Alessandro. Ben bagged his 2nd goal shortly after, with a nice assist from Matthew. Greystones finished the first half strongly, but Lewis and Callum were unshakeable at the back, tackling strongly, and starting off our counter attacks with some incisive passing.

Park started the 2nd half as the did the first, and were soon 3-0 up, with Matthew scoring after a long period of sustained pressure. The fourth goal was an absolute cracker, with Conor smashing a long range effort into the top corner to make it 4-0. Greystones then started to press forward, and despite a string of fine saves from Ciarán, made it 4-1 mid-way through the 2nd half with a nice finish. Park stayed calm, and minutes later it was 5–1 with Daragh now getting on the scoresheet with a cleverly disguised finish. Then came the team goal of the game, finished off by Jack after a wonderful passing move involving, Lewis, Ben, Matthew and Daragh. It finished 6-1.

Man of the match has to go to Ben who scored a brace, had 2 assists, and ran his socks off for the team. Conor was a close 2nd, controlling the game from unfamiliar positions at centre mid and defence. Great team performance!
