Good evening Parents, Players, Volunteers and all associated with Park Celtic.
Just a few updates from myself and the Committee as we near the end of another successful season for Park Celtic on and off the pitch.

- The Club House (which most, including me at times, thought would never come) is finally happening. For any doubting Thomas out there, just walk through the Park, reference picture above. Works have already started and the delivery of the modular unit is expected early June. Many many thanks for DLR County Council who have been a pleasure to work with on this from start to finish.
With a little luck it should be in situ during the Mini World Cup (if you're not signed up it's advisable to do now - when places are gone they're gone!). Couldn't let this opportunity go without a massive thank you to Ask Paul for again sponsoring the event.
Again this is a game changer for the Club, with us being able to hold more functions and events at our home in Cabinteely Park. Luke and Patrick will be holding their inaugral Performance Camp (aimed at older age groups) at the end of June in the Park. It is also envisaged we hold additional soccer camps in the Park (planning one in August - watch this space).
2. We are also on the lookout for a Social Media Intern (paid). The role may be best suited to students, graduates or those looking to gain practical experience in media, digital and communications, with a view to forging a career in the media, sports or communication industries.
The following attributes are desirable, but not all are essential:
- A keen interest in sports.
- Relevant third level course experience in media, digital, sports or communications.
- Experience of working with audio, video and photo editing software on both Mac & PC (e.g. InDesign, Adobe Audition, Photoshop).
- Familiarity with Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn & Twitter and an understanding of social media and its role in content marketing and digital marketing.
If interested in the role, please contact chairman@parkceltic.ie
Finally, I would like to wish all our players, managers, volunteers and sponsors the best of luck for the rest of the season. We all hope the players continue to develop their love for the "beautiful game", stay fit and healthy, have fun and make friends for life with Park Celtic F.C.
